Business Analyst III
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner to federal health agencies. We are exploring the addition of an experienced Business Analyst to support complex federal client engagements by performing advanced business analysis, coordinating operational activities, and driving execution across onboarding, invoicing, and deliverables management. The role operates with minimal supervision, partners closely with project leadership, and plays a critical role in ensuring contractual, financial, and delivery requirements are met accurately and on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Project Execution
- Analyze and document complex business, operational, and program requirements to support client delivery and decision-making
- Develop, maintain, and refine workflows, requirements documents, trackers, and analytical artifacts
- Support project planning and execution, and status reporting across multiple workstreams
- Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps, and escalate issues with recommended mitigation approaches
- Coordinate and oversee onboarding activities for project staff, including documentation, system access, training coordination, and compliance tracking
- Maintain onboarding processes, trackers, and documentation to ensure consistency and audit readiness
- Serve as a key liaison between project leadership, operations, HR, and onboarding personnel
- Track and validate labor, expenses, and deliverables to support timely and accurate invoicing
- Review and reconcile the invoice, inputs against requirements, and project records
- Support burn-rate tracking, financial reporting, and variance analysis for project leadership
- Manage and track contractual deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time submission
- Maintain deliverables logs, schedules, and version control in accordance with project and client standards
- Support internal quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet contractual and organizational expectations
- Collaborate closely with Program Managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to support delivery objectives
- Prepare and present clear, well-structured reports, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Adapt to evolving client needs while maintaining accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting business analysis and project delivery activities in a consulting, government, or federal contracting environment
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to complex requirements and operational challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing client-ready documentation and briefings
- Proficient at Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, at an advanced level to support analysis, reporting, and project execution
- Operate independently while collaborating effectively in team-based delivery environments
- Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
- Ability to obtain a public trust
