Project Manager - Workforce Management Human Capital
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner to federal health agencies. We are exploring the addition of an experienced Workforce Management Project Manager who supports the restructuring of Veterans Health Administration (VHA) workforce functions and the development of standardized position descriptions across the enterprise. This role ensures effective coordination of workforce analysis, human resource classification efforts, and project management activities supporting the workforce transformation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead development of standardized position descriptions and functional statements, and supporting documentation
- Manage workforce assessment and occupational analyses to inform classification and organizational decisions
- Coordinate review of existing position descriptions across VISNs and health service areas
- Facilitate SME working sessions to refine duties, competencies, and classification factors
- Support organizational design and workforce optimization initiatives through analysis, recommendations, and implementation support
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of eight (8) years of workforce management and HR program management experience, and/or organizational workforce transformation
- Experience supporting federal HR classification and workforce restructuring initiatives (e.g., position descriptions development/standardization, occupational analysis)
- Knowledge of VA classification standards preferred
- Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
- Ability to obtain a public trust
