Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal healthcare agencies, is currently seeking a Principal, Healthcare Staffing Program Director, in support of a new, complex federal contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs/Veterans Health Administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Principal, Integrated Critical Staffing Program Director (ICSP) will serve as the management leader for this 10-year IDIQ contract. This role will be part of PFS’ leadership team and will serve as the primary point of contact with the government customer and will lead a team of professionals coordinating the provision of clinical and non-clinical staffing and program support services. The candidate should possess healthcare management and staffing experience as well as experience directing large, complex government contracts. Responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of internal professionals to meet established metrics and quality objectives
- Serve as the point of contact with the government Contract Officer’s Representative (COR) and other government contract stakeholders
- Directing a communications and engagement with a large partner network
- Implementing and directing project controls and oversight related to performance and cost
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant government and contract requirements
- Consultation with PFS leadership and oversight including Medical Advisory team, Quality Assurance team and other leaders
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience managing nationwide healthcare programs
- At least 7 years of experience leading healthcare recruiting or staffing contracts for government or commercial organizations
- Familiarity with healthcare staff credentialing, training and onboarding processes
- Demonstrated experience leading a large partner network to meet customer requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience for government contracts including P&L, customer satisfaction, and metrics
- Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university with a preference for a major in business and/or health administration
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship indefinitely
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust if required
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or another similar field
- Experience delivering large contracts on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
- Active PMP certification
